Mariana Paniagua

Mariana first volunteered with UBECI in 2023, providing NGO support and working with the Street Children program in Quito, Ecuador. Inspired by the dedication of the staff and the transformative impact of UBECI’s work, she continues to contribute remotely, assisting with fundraising, planning, and strategizing to help strengthen the organization’s efforts.

With a background in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Mariana is passionate about community engagement, building meaningful partnerships, and creating programs that drive lasting positive change. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work and enjoys collaborating with diverse teams to make a real social impact.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Mariana moved to the U.S. to complete her higher education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Administration. Passionate about traveling, Mariana loves exploring new places and cultures, which further fuels her commitment to supporting communities around the world. She currently resides in Miami, Florida, and continues to dedicate her time to causes she believes in, including supporting UBECI’s mission to help at-risk children.
