Trevor Schrage began volunteering with UBECI in 2013 as an education volunteer. He supported children in summer school and at UBECI's market programs, seeing firsthand the integrity of UBECI's programs. He's been continuing to volunteer remotely since then, impressed by the enthusiasm of the founders and ambitiousness of the mission. Trevor has contributed to fundraising efforts, grant applications, editing and revising documents, and more.
Trevor has a background in both law and education. Since transitioning from corporate law, he has more than ten years of experience in the classroom, teaching in immigrant communities, English language learners, and at-risk youth in secondary school settings.
