Statistics on Families and Children in Each Market
- Las Cuadras: There are 1,500 traders, of whom approximately 90% have one or two children, totaling around 1,350 families. UBECI serves about 130 of the 1,350 children in this area through summer programs, where past participants return to engage in workshops held in July and August. - La Jota: This sector has around 200 traders, all of whom have at least one or two children, totaling approximately 200 families. UBECI has worked with 18 participants regularly and occasionally, offering support to about 8% to 10% of the local child population, as UBECI has been present in this area for four months.
